Electric vehicle charging is categorized into three distinct levels, each designed to meet different driving needs and power requirements. Understanding these options is the first step toward a seamless transition to electric mobility.
Level 1 (120V - Standard Outlet)
The most basic option, Level 1 uses a standard household plug. While it requires no special installation, it is the slowest method—adding roughly 5–9 km of range per hour. It is best suited for plug-in hybrids or low-daily-mileage drivers who can charge overnight (20+ hours for a full charge).
Level 2 (240V - Fast Home/Public Charging)
